Cross-Cultural Development is a part of all that we do, because our clients are primarily multi-national companies. We integrate cross-cultural understanding into each service that we offer, but also are able to provide specific cross-cultural services including:
Cross-Cultural Communication Training increases participants awareness of the various cultural similarities and differences in their organization and how best to adjust their communication style for the various audiences. We find that most of our clients’ difficulties lie with miscommunication due to a lack of cultural awareness.
Language Services are available through our company. We offer classes for Indonesians to learn English and for expats to learn Indonesian. Our teachers are the best around and we are able to offer both private, small-group, and large group classes in both languages.
Translation Services of documents from English to Indonesian and Indonesian to English are professionally accomplished through a process of utilizing native speakers of both languages to ensure an accurate and readable translation.
Relocation Services involves helping organizations successfully transition their expat managers and families into their new life on Batam. We are able to provide a host of services that include orientation, cross-cultural training, cross-cultural adjustment assessments, and ongoing support services.
CernySmith Assessment: The CernySmith Assessment is a new, highly researched, reliable, and accurate tool for screening and evaluating cross-cultural adjustment. The CSA empowers global people to be more successful in their cross-cultural placements by helping identify areas of strengths and challenges in their adjustment. This is a specialized tool based in extensive research that assesses intercultural adjustment and skills in cross-cultural settings. Used in coaching meetings to assist companies in the retention of business executives, employees, and families by providing support to those going abroad for business, educational, diplomatic, or humanitarian purposes.
International Partner: CernySmith Assessment products are sold exclusively through an elite network of authorized distributors who train and certify coaches to purchase, administer, and interpret CernySmith online assessments for their cross-cultural clients. BME Services is a CernySmith International Partner and as such is authorized to distribute CSA products and services around the world.
Individual Coach Training: We offer a six-hour training course that certifies coaches to effectively use the CernySmith Assessment with individuals making cross-cultural adjustments. This training is available online or in person, depending on your unique needs. Certified coaches are able to purchase the full version of the CSA for use with their clients as well as Team Reports through us.
We do not just want to train you on how to use the CSA assessment to improve your coaching ability, but we also want to help you figure out how to best market the product to existing and future clients.
